InfraShift

How We Work

From Broken to Built.

We've seen what happens when a consultant comes in with slides, spends three months studying your business, hands you a 40-page PDF, and leaves you to figure out the rest. That's not what we do. Every InfraShift engagement follows the same four-phase process. It's designed to deliver real value at every stage — not just at the end.

Phase 01 — Free

Discovery Call

The discovery call is 45 minutes. No pitch. No deck. We want to hear about your operation — what's working, what isn't, where you feel the most friction. At the end of the call we'll tell you honestly whether we think we can help, what that might look like, and what the next step would be.

If we're not the right fit we'll tell you that too. The call is free. It will always be free. We'd rather have a real conversation with a company that's a good fit than pitch everyone who walks in the door.

Phase 02 — Audit

Operations Audit

If there's a fit, we go deep. The audit is 1–2 weeks of structured investigation into your operation. We interview your people. We map your workflows. We review your systems. We look at your data. We ask hard questions that your team might not have the space to ask themselves.

At the end you get a prioritized roadmap — specific opportunities, specific ROI estimates, specific recommendations for where to start. Most clients tell us this is the most useful thing they've paid for in years.

Price: $8,000–$15,000 depending on company size and complexity.

Phase 03 — Build

We Build

We take the highest-priority item from the audit and we build it. You'll have a dedicated point of contact throughout — the same person who scoped the project is the person building it. We work in two-week sprints with regular check-ins so you always know where things stand.

We test against real data, handle edge cases, and don't declare something done until it actually works in your environment. No junior consultants. No offshore handoffs. The person who sells you the project is the person who builds it.

Price: depends on engagement type. Timeline: 3–14 weeks.

Phase 04 — Handoff

You Own It

When the build is done, we don't just hand you a login. We document everything. We train every person who will touch the system. We make sure your team understands how it works, how to maintain it, and how to extend it if they want to.

You own the code. You own the documentation. You own the credentials. The engagement ends when you're running better — not when our contract expires. We've never had a client wish we hadn't done this. Most say it's what separated us from every other vendor they'd worked with.

Full ownership transfer. Code, docs, credentials, architecture diagrams.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do we need to do the audit first?

Not always. If you have a very specific, well-defined process you want to automate, we can sometimes go straight to scoping. But for most companies, the audit is where the real value is. It ensures we're building the right thing — not just building fast.

Who actually does the work?

The person you talk to in the discovery call is the person who will scope, build, and deliver your engagement. We work with a small number of clients at any time specifically so we can give every project the attention it deserves.

How do you handle our data?

We work with whatever security requirements your company has. For regulated industries, we build everything on your own infrastructure so your data never leaves your environment. For other engagements, we sign NDAs as standard practice and follow your data handling requirements.

What happens if something breaks after you leave?

We document everything and train your team. For minor issues after handoff, we're reachable. For ongoing support, we can structure a retainer. We build things to last — and we build them so your team can maintain them without us.

How long does a typical engagement take?

The audit is 1–2 weeks. Process automation takes 3–6 weeks. A full systems architecture engagement is 6–10 weeks. Private infrastructure deployments are 8–14 weeks. We move faster than most — because we're not writing reports, we're building systems.

What industries do you work in?

Our deepest experience is in logistics and freight, healthcare operations, and real estate. But the systems thinking we bring applies to any operations-heavy business. If you're managing complex workflows across multiple people, systems, or locations — we should talk.

Ready to see what this looks like for your operation?

The discovery call is 45 minutes and it's free. We'll tell you honestly what we think — and what we think the right next step is.
